Crowne Plaza Hotel

The CAWS Spring Seminar on February 27, 2012 will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Irvine California approximately 1 mile from the John Wayne Airport.

Inquiry is an important part of all three programs of the IBO. The forms that Inquiry takes, the reasons for its efficacy, and markers that identify excellent inquiry based teaching will be the basis of the session. Job-alike, cross-program, and transdisciplinary groupings will be used to discuss purposeful and targeted inquiry-based planning, expand inquiry-based lessons, and discuss personal practice. The use of inquiry and question development in the Exhibition, Personal Project, and Extended Essay will be explored with an emphasis on effective practices.
